County Executive Race

Spano wins, but gets the livin' hell beat out of him in the process. Won't be a shoe-in and he'll have to spend his money. http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050612/NEWS02/506120317/1026/NEWS10&template=printart
What does Astorino get out of this deal?

Mike Kaplowitz will help Spano out and do what he does best, get nasty. He might do better paying attention to his own district where the registration doesn't makeit easy for the legislator http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050610/NEWS02/506100376/1026/NEWS10&template=printart

Now, Spano might of have an easier time if he were a tad bit more attentive to the grassroots of the party. Lots of the local Dems are swallowing hard and backing him, but don't expect to see a lot of sweat spilt on his behalf.

Welcome to my home

Welcome folks! To make it short and sweet here's what you can expect:

Insightful and thoughtful commentary with a hint of pragmatic liberalism.

Basically just some left-of-center commentary on politics in Westchester County. A special emphasis is placed on the Northern Part of the county, but the southern part won't be forgotten.

Enjoy!
